Murder, You Wrote is a hilarious improvised whodunit where one unlucky performer meets a dire fate in our opening act. Our detective and their trusted sidekick will use their interrogation skills to suss out the culprit and solve the case. The twist? The audience gets to decide who the killer is amongst an array of suspects who are anything but usual. Murder, You Wrote debuted at the Sacramento Comedy Spot in August of 2022. It was developed by local talent, and has been performed every month ever since by a cast of wonderfully funny homegrown improvisers and dozens of guest players from every corner of the region. The only folks having more fun than the audience are the performers on stage. If you’ve ever wondered what it would look like if Agatha Christie made a stage baby with Whose Line is it Anyway, come see the show to find out!
Nibling Rivalry is a high-energy, fast-paced improv show that is going to take you on the comedy equivalent of a midway ride at a kitten rodeo. The format shares DNA with The Groundlings’ Crazy Uncle Joe Show — the most enduring long-form improv show in Los Angeles (23 years and counting!) No kittens will be harmed! But we can’t promise your cheeks won’t hurt from laughing super hard. (What’s a nibling? It’s a gender-neutral term for niece or nephew. Think of us as a bunch of rascally cousins with a famous Hollywood uncle.)

Doors open for Murder, You Wrote at 7:10 p.m. Show starts promptly at 7:30 p.m. There will be a 30-minute break between shows from 8:30 to 9:00 p.m. Nibling Rivalry begins at 9:00 p.m. Grab a drink at our bar — before, between, or after the shows!
