2023 Davis Dance Project - Art in 4 Dimensions
Produced by the PTDT, and funded, in part, by the Davis Arts & Culture Grant Fund of the Yolo Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation, this concert will include several collaborative performance pieces that have been created from art work by local artists. The performance includes a short lecture/demonstration of art concepts that different mediums share, followed by pieces in performance.
Local artists who are participating in the event include choreographers Ann Marie Dragich , Erin Dunning, Taylor Herrera, Tasé, and Pamela Trokanski. Visual Artists include Parto Aram, Analisa Bevan, Robin Lee Carlson, Joan Jarvis, and Binuta Sudhakaran. Musicians include Meri Superak and Hank Lawson. Poets Allegra Silberstein and Kari Wergeland round out the experience.
In addition, the concert will feature a video clip of a scene from Inglorious Basterds performed by Skye Falyn and Jack Collins, and directed by Sterling Anderson with cinematography done by Lamondo Hill.
Ticket Info: Children 12 and younger come for free, although they will need a ticket to reserve a space and must be accompanied by an adult. General admission tickets are specially priced at $10.00. To purchase tickets please call 530.756.3949 or email [email protected].
