PTDT Spring Concert - What if NORMAL, Isn't?
The Pamela Trokanski Dance Theatre invites the community to join them for the premiere of their new work: What if NORMAL isn’t? ...a thoughtful and sometimes humorous exploration of the wonderful, yet often irritating world of living with the personal idiosyncrasies of everyone who isn't you. Through movement, text, and a diverse range of music, the work looks at what influences human beings to view the world from a wide range of perspectives and what the implications might be for us as individuals, communities, and a species.
Joining the PTDT are the Light Ballet Company, and The Third Stage. Known for work that integrates a strong sense of athleticism and technical training with idiosyncratic movements and a diverse range of movers, including dancers ranging in age from 10 to 90+, this is not your average dance performance!
The performance will open on Saturday, April13, at 7:00pm and follow up with a matinee performance on Sunday, April 14, at 2:00pm.
All performances are held at the Louise H. Kellogg Memorial Theater, located at the Pamela Trokanski Dance Workshop, 2720 Del Rio Place, in Davis.
Tickets are available in advance and at the door.
General Admission - $20
