Comedy Cash Cow Competition: Vacaville’s Newest Comedy Showdown
Vacaville, CA – On Stage Vacaville, in partnership with Journey Downtown, is thrilled to announce the launch of the first annual Comedy Cash Cow Competition. Set to light up the historic Journey Downtown venue 308 Main Street, Vacaville on May 25, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, this event promises an evening filled with laughter, talent, and competition as comedians vie for the title of the “Comedy Cash Cow.”
A Battle of Wit and Humor
The Comedy Cash Cow Competition invites comedians to showcase their skills in a rapid-fire, 3 minute speed-dating format, with the Final Five advancing with a 10 minute routine to battling it out for top honors and a grand prize of $1,000.00. But that’s not all – the winner will also star in their own comedy film directed, written and produced by award winning seasoned industry professionals and other great prizes.
Judging with a Twist
A diverse panel of judges ranging from industry professionals to everyday comedy lovers, the Comedy Cash Cow Competition ensures a variety of perspectives in selecting the winner.
How to Compete
Comedians interested in competing can submit a short tape and comedy bio for consideration. The top 25 comedians will advance to the live competition, with the final 5 performing new material for a chance to win the coveted title.
