A series of workshops on improving work opportunities in the homecare industry will be presented by the California Center for Cooperative Development (CCCD). Caregivers provide vital work that enables seniors and disabled adults to live independently, yet the work is often underpaid and undervalued. The workshops will share information about Co-op Homecare – a local worker cooperative business that offers jobs and cooperative ownership opportunities for caregivers. The workshop will discuss the social and economic benefits of the worker cooperative model for those who are interested in working in the caregiving field. 
The events are free and open to the public. The workshop is repeated in three locations on three days:
