Beautify Bird Entry Park
Join us on Saturday, August 16th from 8:30AM-11:30AM for a volunteer workday at Bird Entry Park in Davis! This is a collaborative project between Putah Creek Council and Friends of the North Davis Channel.
We will be beautifying the park and adjacent bike path by completing tasks such as trimming, weeding, cleaning up, and adding mulch to native shrubs.
Please wear sturdy, close-toed shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a reusable water bottle. All necessary equipment, water, and snacks will be provided. No previous experience is necessary, and all community members are welcome! Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
All volunteers must sign the Putah Creek Council and Friends of the North Davis Channel waivers, and those under the age of 18 will need a guardians’ signature on both. Physical copies are required, and will be provided upon arrival.
