Group Therapy for Kids and Teens with Anxiety
Sign up now for weekly Spring Therapy Groups at Westside Psychological Services!
For ages 8-17 and parents, to treat stress, worry, social anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias, health anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and depression.
Group Therapy is a very effective and economical way to seek treatment for a number of issues in kids and teens, while giving parents the tools to help at home, in a fun, engaging environment.
Seating for this 10-week program utilizing the evidence-based Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders in Children (UP-C) and Adolescents (UP-A) is limited, so sign up today!

Weekly, 7-8pm, Wednesdays, March 1st, 2023 – May 10th, 2023 (with a break for Easter)
Cost:
$50/week for parent(s)/guardian(s) and 1 child or
$80/week for parent(s)/guardian(s) and 2 children or
$100/week for parent(s)/guardian(s) and 3+ children
The goal of the UP is to reduce the intensity and frequency of negative emotions, through emotion-focused education, awareness techniques, cognitive strategies, problem-solving, and an array of behavioral strategies. A parent group runs separately, at the same time as the children and adolescent groups, to equip parents with unique knowledge, skills, and support for parenting children and adolescents with emotional needs.
To ensure that this group is appropriate for each youth, screening is required.
