Davis has taught at numerous universities, including UC Berkeley, UCLA, Vassar, Syracuse, and Stanford. Davis is the author of ten books and has lectured worldwide. A persistent theme of her work has been the range of social problems associated with incarceration and the generalized criminalization of those communities that are most affected by poverty and racial discrimination. Area College/University Attendees: Complimentary tickets are available for area colleges. A selected representative from each college can request up to 20 e-tickets per institution by contacting [email protected]. Complimentary tickets must be requested between January 29 and February 2. Space is limited, and we ask that attendance be confirmed before requesting complimentary tickets.
