Fall Into Canandaigua

CANANDAIGUA, NEW YORK- The Downtown Canandaigua Business Management Association, Inc. (BID) is once again presenting Fall Into Canandaigua on Saturday, October 26 from 11 am until 3 pm. The festivities will take place throughout Downtown Canandaigua and will include fun activities for the entire family. Pumpkin Decorating, sponsored by The Rotary Club of Canandaigua, begins at 11 am in Commons Park. The Annual Kids Costume Parade will line up in Commons Park at noon and then parade the sidewalks of historic downtown Canandaigua, visiting participating businesses and Community booths handing out candy and treats. The Kids Costume Contest, sponsored by Sweet Expressions, will take place at the Maxion Stage, Commons Park immediately following the parade. The Maxion Stage will host Fall-themed entertainment including the Amazing Magic Joe Show at 11 am. Witchy Women of the Finger Lakes performs at 11:45 am & 1:30 pm, 2 Barn Farm Baby Kangaroo Keeper Talk at 12:30, and Horse-drawn wagon rides will roll through historic downtown from 12 pm -3 pm. New this year will be a Party Animals Petting Zoo, Repco Wildlife Encounters, and a Dance-off Contest with Prizes at 2 pm for kids, 2:15 pm for kids and an adult, and 2:30 pm for the entire family, sponsored by Kiwanis of Canandaigua. You won’t want to miss out on the Kiwanis Kids Fun Zone, Barbie meet and greet, Minion and Clown Photo Ops, Caricature Artist Tersh Ronalds, a digital prop photo booth, Witchy Women of the Finger Lakes Broom raffle, First Responders, Sheriff K9 Demonstrations and so much more! Stroll the Streets of Downtown Canandaigua and Explore all the New Fall Products at the many Quaint Shops, Great Restaurants, Kettle Korn, Fried Dough, and other Delicious treats. FOOD, FUN AND FAMILY IS WHAT FALL INTO CANADAIGUA IS ALL ABOUT! Community non-profits will be set up along Downtown Main Street with family-fun activities and information. The event is sponsored by Green Spark, UR Medicine and Thompson Health, Zea Proukou, Rotary Club of Canandaigua, Kiwanis of Canandaigua, Boylan Code, GoNetSpeed, Renewal by Anderson, Superior Plumbing, Mattiacio Orthodontics, Kids Out and About, and Beyond the Nest. The Day will conclude with the Final Concert of the Season at the Central on Main, an outdoor Dining and Music Venue…Steve West and the Ooh Ahh Band will perform 5-8.
