Roc Juneteenth Eighth Annual 5K Run/Walk
The Roc Juneteenth 2024 5K Run/Walk will take place at 1 pm Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at the Riverbend Shelter, Genesee Valley Park. This is the eighth annual run/walk. The cost is $25 per person; $30 the day of the race. You may do your walk or run virtually, at any point between registration and the day of the race. The virtual option costs $10. The eighth annual run/walk will bring runners and walkers along a scenic riverside trail. A free jazz concert with RJ and Friends will follow at 4 pm, at nearby Roundhouse Shelter. Florence Civil Rights Heritage Park, which will educate visitors about Rochester's Black Freedom Struggle.
