The children's opera "All Aboard for Ararat" was first staged at Linwood Gardens in 1957 and was composed by Thomas Canning with words by William Gratwick. The twenty-minute opera is based on the story of Noah's Ark with a comedic twist. For the first time ever, this opera is being re-mounted and performed as a part of the Linwood Gardens Tree Peony Festival! Performances will be May 17th and 18th at 4:30pm in the Lily Pool Garden.
