Having fortunately escaped the bombing and destruction of World War II, Prague is an architectural gem. The city is filled with buildings that showcase Gothic, Romanesque, Renaissance, and Baroque styles. Join retired professor David Schuler as he shares some world-class sights of the “Jewel along the Vltava:” from the historic Castle Complex; to its unique Old Town Square and Astronomical Clock; from the iconic Charles Bridge sculptures; to the Art Nouveau and Deco gems of the Municipal House, Café Louvre, and the Imperial Hotel.
Registration requested. Library programs are open and beneficial to all. We invite people with physical and/or cognitive disabilities to attend any of our activities and will strive to support individual needs.
