Irondequoit Historical Society - History of Pharmacies in Western New York with Dick Campbell
Please join the Irondequoit Historical Society on February 1st, 2024, as we welcome Dick Campbell.
Dick is an amateur genealogist and collector of dose glasses (small cups used to measure medicine). These two fields of interest have led to the items and historical snippets that will be discussed February 1st. The druggists included here were abolitionists, women's rights advocates, Civil War veterans, a Medal of Honor winner, philanthropists, and political figures from Rochester.
