Women's Perspectives, 2024

The photography exhibit “Women’s Perspectives,” offers a compelling and diverse collection of images that delve into the unique viewpoints of the following ten talented female photographers: Kimberly Benedetto, Diane W. Dersch, Cindy El-Gaaly, Joyce Freitas, Donna LaPlante, Melissa Mance-Coniglio, Margy Meath, Sandi Osterwise, Martha Price, and Patty Ulrich Singer. Each artist brings her own distinct style and vision to the table, showcasing a range of emotions, stories, and experiences through the lens of their cameras. In addition to their individual photographs, the women also are displaying a group of photographs featuring the theme of reflections, which adds a layer of introspection and depth to the individual visual narratives presented. In addition to the featured photographers, the following photographers are also exhibiting during this show: Visiting Artist: Andrea Gluckman; Guest Artists: David Perlman, Ron Shapiro, Michael Shoemaker, d. dargan teska; Camera Rochester photographers: Amy Carpenter, Archie Curry, Steven Gall, Larry Mandelker; and Image City Partners: Dick Bennett, Marie Costanza, Steve Levinson, Gil Maker, Don Menges, Luann Pero, Betsy Phillips, John Solberg, and Sheridan Vincent.
