Image City Photography Gallery is proud to announce "Rochester Out and About," a new exhibit by longtime partner, Sheridan Vincent. The show will be on view from September 2-28 with an opening reception on Friday September 5 from 5:00-9:00. Admission is free and open to the public. This milestone exhibit celebrates Sheridan’s 20 years as a partner at Image City, showcasing both personal favorites and popular images from across his career. Known for his experimentation with print media and framing, he has continually expanded the ways his work is experienced. From the stately facades of downtown to the winding paths of Highland Park and the dramatic vistas of Letchworth, the exhibit traces a Rochesterian’s eye across time and terrain. Many of the images center on trees—solitary sentinels, clustered groves, or natural frames for the built environment—captured in varied light and weather, often in locations revisited over years. He says, “Rochester has so much to offer, and I often return to familiar places to capture new conditions and situations. Often as I am traveling around Rochester, I see something that catches my eye, and I register it for a future camera visit. A stroll in the city center at dusk is always an attraction during Rochester’s seasons.” "Rochester Out and About" balances familiar landmarks with hidden corners, offering viewers both recognition and discovery. From the glow of a sunrise over the Genesee River to the quiet details of a city street, the exhibit is a vibrant tribute to Rochester’s character and spirit.
