Youth Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest
Rochester Elks Lodge local competition for the Annual Elks “Hoop Shoot”®, the national free throw shooting contest for youngsters ages 8 through 13. The contest is free to enter and is open to all area youth. Registration and practice begin at 6:30 pm, and the contest starts at 7:00 pm. No pre-registration is required.
Boys & girls compete separately in age groups 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13. nd group winners advance to the District level contest! The boy and girl in each age group with the best scores can advance through four tiers of competition to qualify for the national finals at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois, in April 2026, as guests of the Elks, along with their parents.
The Hoop Shoot allows every boy and girl between 8 and 13 the opportunity to participate in a fun, age-appropriate program that sets them up for future success.
