It's a FREE hour of live music performed by the string quartet of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Friday, Sept. 19, 6-7 p.m. presented by the Golisano Autism Center, 50 Science Parkway, Rochester, 14620. All are welcome to attend the concert, which is designed to be inclusive and comfortable for individuals with sensory sensitivities, such as those on the autism spectrum. Key features of the concert include a carefully curated program of calming music performed at reduced volume. The venue will feature subdued lighting, quiet spaces, the availability of noise-reduction headphones, and relaxed house rules that allow concertgoers to move, make noise, and leave the theater whenever needed.
