A New Light Will Play! — Music of Courageous and Unapologetic Joy
Step into the light. This concert celebrates bold, radiant choral music across centuries: from Hildegard von Bingen to living composers whose works soar, rock, and pray with fearless joy. Also featuring Norman Dello Joio’s A Jubilant Song, Barbara Baker’s The Storm Is Passing Over, and Jennifer Lucy Cook’s They Are Mother, the program embraces an expansive, unapologetic vision of joy. The concert closes with Elaine Hagenberg’s luminous Measure Me, Sky! — a radiant celebration of being fully alive.
