The Tuskegee Airmen: A Rochester Connection
World War II was drawing near a close, but his services as a bomber escort pilot were still sorely needed. En route to the mission, the Rochester, NY pilot went missing in action, and he has never been found. His story, however, is still flying.
Presented by Austin Hancock. Austin is a pilot/flight instructor, with the goal of flying WWII aircraft. He works as a museum specialist for the National Warplane Museum in nearby Geneseo. He was born in Rochester and raised around the museum. Flying is his passion.
