Emergency Preparedness Planning for Families & Individuals

Most people are not prepared in the event of an emergency. Did you know that your plan should include information like identification, insurance, legal info, digital info (computer/cellphone), medical info, pet info, financial info, and more? Whether it's a medical emergency, a weather-related event (flood, hurricane, etc.), a fire, or a death, join Ann Greenfield as she walks us through the ins and outs of how to create an emergency preparedness plan for any situation so you aren't caught unprepared. This program is designed to help individuals and their families - no matter their age - to have critical and vital information accessible to them in the event of an emergency situation. For those individuals that have multiple homes (cottage, RV, etc.) or homes in multiple places/states - the items in this plan should be taken with them, whenever their place of residence changes. For those individuals that have immediate family (elderly parents/relatives, children, etc.) living in another town or state - this information could be lifesaving. Ann Greenfield is a retired Records and Information Manager for large law firms throughout the country. She holds a B.A. in Sociology and a Masters in Library Science. Program Accommodations We want everyone to feel welcome at our library programs and events!
