The Geneseo Cat Tour
We will gather together to start the cat tour in the Village of Geneseo just off Main Street, on Chestnut Street! There is plenty of parking at a nearby lot and along the street. Event runs 3:30pm to 7pm, official walk leaves at 5:30pm. Dressing in cat-themed attire encouraged! Food, live music, and games! The whisker station, voting on your favorite Geneseo Cat Tour cat, tattoo station, and walking tour are free Donate to Hearthside Cats to get tickets to participate in other activities on site. ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO BENEFIT CATS IN LIVINGSTON COUNTY! Activities on site: Mini pet portraits, bouquet making, catnip fish market, plush and live cat adoptions, and prize raffle! There will be cat-ear headbands and beverage containers (coffee, tea) available in exchange for donations to Hearthside Cats! Cats and kittens up for adoption will be on site to adopt after the walk! You can also apply to become a foster for cats in need through Hearthside Cats. Answers to your burning questions: Q. Will I be able to hold and pet all of the neighborhood cats? A. No! These are cats! We will view them however they like to be viewed as we pass on the sidewalk (hanging out in a window, in their owner's arms, or outside on their lawn). Consider adopting a cat at our event to have one to snuggle up with at home! Q. How long will the walk be? A. The tour is a 1.3 mile walk or less on sidewalks in the Village of Geneseo. Final route posted the week of the event! We will have a water station and some music along the route too. Q. Do we know how weird this is? A. Yes! Lean into it! It's for the charity!
