The Life of Eleanor Roosevelt will be a 3-part series. Please join us for all of the programs in this series or one of them! The first part of this series will be about Eleanor Roosevelt’s birth and the loss of both parents at a young age, her education in London, and Eleanor’s return to America where she meets a young Franklin Roosevelt. This presentation will also focus on Eleanor and Franklin’s marriage life, Franklin’s betrayal, and how polio affected their lives. During the 1920s, Eleanor will become the eyes and ears of her husband as he struggles with his health and a return to politics. It is during this time that she becomes the historical figure we know, discovering her strength and purpose in society. This talk will conclude with Franklin D. Roosevelt’s election to the Presidency in 1932. Please click here to register: https://calendar.libraryweb.org/event/16462746
