Eclipse 2024 Program: Holograms You Can Touch
New research opens the possibility for the creation of a new form of virtual reality inspired by Star Trek’s Holodeck and Marvel Comics' Danger Room. This talk shows how an 1800s discovery by Alexander Graham Bell can be combined with cutting edge neuroscience to make science fiction a reality. Presented by Darren Lipomi, PhD, a Professor of Nanoengineering, Associate Dean for Students, and YouTuber/podcaster at University of California, San Diego.
