Final Fridays at Sights & Shades | Featuring Amy E. Wheeler
We’re kicking off the season with our very first Final Friday—a fresh take on our beloved art nights, now held on the last Friday of the month to better connect with our downtown creative community.
Join us at Sights & Shades in Downtown Canandaigua on Friday, May 29th from 5:30–7:00 PM as we feature the work of Amy E. Wheeler.
Amy is an oil painter based in Naples, NY, whose contemporary realistic style captures the quiet beauty of vintage and time-worn objects. Drawn to rust, patina, and the character that comes with age, her work tells layered stories through still life and portraiture—inviting both nostalgia and curiosity. With a background in illustration and mural work throughout Rochester and the Finger Lakes, Amy brings both technical precision and soulful storytelling to her paintings.
Make an evening of it—Gallery 32 and FLCC’s Art Space will also be open, creating a vibrant, walkable night of art throughout downtown.
