Shortsville Railroad Station Museum Open House
The Lehigh Valley Railroad Historical Society Station Museum at 8 East High Street in Shortsville, New York, will be open to the public on Sunday, August 16. Hours will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A large collection of historical artifacts from the Lehigh Valley Railroad is on display at the museum along with an operating N scale model train layout. The gift shop will be open. Model trains and used books will also be on sale. Railroad historian Alan Wedman will give a presentation about the CSX and Ontario Central railroads at 2:00 p.m. Admission is free; donations are welcome.
