Honoring Heroes Gala & Auction
Honoring Heroes Gala & Auction in the Finger Lakes is being held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford NY. It is an annual event and our largest. We raise funds to help children and adults with physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities in the community. Proudly, all proceeds from our event will allow us to expand important educational, clinical, residential, and therapeutic services & programming to those we serve—children and adults in the Rochester and Finger Lakes Regions. The pandemic hit us hard and put many of our programs in jeopardy, including our Early Intervention Program for children.
The Gala consists of a cocktail reception, dinner, keynote speaker(s), awards ceremony, live and silent auctions, Wine Cork Pull, cash call/appeal for special projects, and a cake/sweets auction. The event focuses on honoring our heroes—those programs, staff, volunteers, and donors–for their perseverance, hard work, long hours, and incredible support. All attendees are 21 years of age or older and from Rochester and Finger Lakes communities. The event is upscale in nature, being held at a picturesque venue with classic décor and an excellent menu selection. Last year we raised over $150,000, brought in 175-200 attendees, and secured over 40 major sponsors.
