MONTCLAIR PLACE HOSTS BACK-TO-SCHOOL SHOE DRIVE

Montclair Place, a leading shopping, dining and entertainment hub in the heart of the Inland Empire (https://montclairplace.com), is partnering with Shoes That Fit, a Claremont, California-based nonprofit organization, to host a back-to-school shoe drive now through August 7th. During the drive, visitors can stop by Montclair Place’s Center Court where a display will feature tags listing a child’s first name, gender and shoe size. Guests are invited to select a tag, purchase a new pair of athletic shoes from one of approximately 10 participating retailers at the center, and return the donation to the designated collection bin in Center Court. The initiative aims to support children in need, many of whom outgrow their shoes every three to four months during key growth periods, creating an ongoing challenge for families already facing financial hardship. With one in five children in the United States living in poverty, access to properly fitting shoes can make a meaningful difference in a child’s ability to attend school comfortably and confidently.
