The National MS Society builds a network of resources and events to help people affected by MS live less isolated, more informed, happier lives — including more than 100,000 people stepping forward for Walk MS each and every year.
Walk MS: Albuquerque is the state of New Mexico’s one and exclusive annual Walk MS to support New Mexicans state-wide. Walk MS celebrates the resiliency of the nearly 1 million people living with MS in the United States. Every step will be backed by a supportive community. For participants diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, Walk MS is an opportunity to learn about National MS Society services, receive useful information from sponsors, and a place to connect with others living with MS.
Our Mission: We will cure MS while empowering people affected by MS to live their best lives. The National MS Society helps New Mexicans affected by the disease to address the challenges of living with MS. We help by raising funds for cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services that empower people with MS and their families to move their lives forward. Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to achieving a world free of MS.
