Nonprofit Board Governance Workshop - Succession Planning
Leadership Metro Richmond presents Nonprofit Board Governance Workshops to connect and prepare future and current nonprofit board leaders, members, CEOs, and senior staff. These workshops are facilitated by seasoned governance experts, each with years of experience serving as successful nonprofit CEOs and nonprofit board chairs in the Richmond region. Their knowledge from both perspectives will empower attendees to navigate the complexities of nonprofit board governance through a dynamic learning experience.
In this workshop, Lisa Specter-Dunaway, MPA, will cover best practices in succession planning for CEO and board leadership and guidance in developing a process to help nonprofits manage inevitable change.
The workshop is on Thursday, November 29, 2023, from 9:00 - Noon at United Way, 7814 Carousel Ln #400, Richmond, VA 23294. Registration is required and is $95 per person. Light refreshments will be available.
