Nonprofit Board Governance Workshop - Board Essentials
Leadership Metro Richmond presents Nonprofit Board Governance Workshops to connect and prepare future and current nonprofit board leaders, members, CEOs, and senior staff. These workshops are facilitated by seasoned governance experts, each with years of experience serving as successful nonprofit CEOs and nonprofit board chairs in the Richmond region. Their knowledge from both perspectives will empower attendees to navigate the complexities of nonprofit board governance through a dynamic learning experience.
Myra Goodman Smith, and Lisa Specter-Dunaway, MPA, will facilitate "Board Essentials," where attendees will increase their awareness of board service duties and obligations.
The workshop is on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 9:00 - Noon at United Way, 7814 Carousel Ln #400, Richmond, VA 23294. Registration is required and is $95 per person. Light refreshments will be available.
