19th Annual ASK 5K & Fun Walk
This event has something for all ages! The festivities begin at 8am with spirit stations, games, and so much more. 9:30am will kick off the race, but don't run away too quickly after you cross that finish line! A post-race festival with live music will follow. If you are unable to attend in person, consider participating virtually by walking a 5K wherever you are on the morning of May 18th. More than anything else, this is a meaningful day of fun and friendship as we walk (or run!) to support kids and their families across the state who are battling childhood cancer. ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation supports families in Virginia who are battling childhood cancer. Founded in 1975, the organization has offered a helping hand to the community for almost 50 years. With 6-7 children being diagnosed per week across the state, the need for the financial, educational and psychosocial support ASK provides is greater than ever.
