Henrico Theatre Company is thrilled to pay tribute to an American icon, Burt Bacharach. Bacharach was an American composer, songwriter, record producer and pianist who is widely regarded as one of the most important and influential figures of 20th century popular music. Starting in the 1950’s he composed hundreds of pop songs, many in collaboration with lyricist Hal David. From 1961-1972 most of Bacharach and David’s songs were written specifically for and performed by Dionne Warwick. Come out and join HTC’s singing and dancing cast while you reminisce to many of his hits including “This Guy’s in Love with You,” “Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head,” “Walk On By” and “Do You Know the Way to San Jose” – and more!
