Indoor 2nd Stage Show! Enjoy general admission seating in our Cardinal Ballroom. Plus, make the evening complete with wine/beer/beverages and snacks for sale at the show! World class jazz from a hometown trumpet hero. Rex Richardson hails from RVA, but his reputation as a master trumpeter extends worldwide. From his days as a sideman with legendary jazz saxophonist, Joe Henderson to his current roles as a Yamaha Performing Artist and Professor of Trumpet and Jazz Studies at VCU, Rex Richardson has earned accolades as a “genre-busting” international trumpet virtuoso for his playing in both the jazz and classical realms. Join us for a night of stellar jazz by one of Richmond’s most accomplished musicians.
