Richmond Philharmonic presents Sounds of Scotland
Please join the Richmond Philharmonic for our next concert of the 2025 season: "Evolving Echoes: Sounds of Scotland"! We are so excited to perform these pieces with you all. The repertoire chosen for this concert celebrates the range of Scottish classical music, with pieces composed in the 1800s, all the way up to the present! Our very own Philharmonic member, violinist Dr. John W. Turner, has composed "Doggerland Suite", and we will be performing its world premiere! We will also be accompanied by acclaimed soloist Anton Miller during our performance of Bruch's "Scottish Fantasy". Join us on Sunday, March 16th at St. Christopher's School Arts Center to enjoy a history of the sounds of Scotland! We will also host a 3pm pre-concert talk with Maestro Peter Wilson & Mike Goldberg, classical host from VPM Music (93.1 and 107.3 FM). Tickets are free. We hope to see you there!
