Affirmation Valentine Workshop
In this one-hour workshop, a list of affirmations will be provided for participants to create a set of 4-6 self-love Valentines. For the first 45 minutes, you will have creative freedom to play with paint and try out different designs. The last 15 minutes will be dedicated to creating a surprise bonus art piece focused on self love that will make its way back around to participants in an unexpected way! Bring a friend, grab a signature Valentine-themed cocktail at the Lobby Bar, and have fun!!
Carrie and her husband Andrew make up Snail Mail, a small business specializing in hand-painted cards. Craft paint and brown paper were the only two materials Carrie had when she first began making “Welcome Home” cards for their new refugee neighbors, and it’s still the only two supplies she uses to create cards today. The care that goes into each of these makes them more than just a folded piece of paper - they’re an original piece of artwork made especially for you to send to those you care for deeply.
