Since then there is an ongoing discussion of which region has the best red wines in the world - Napa Valley, California or Bordeaux, France. Generally speaking, Bordeaux wines are balanced and nuanced with less fruit-forwardness. In contrast, California Cabernets are dense and rich, full of dark fruit.
