Jordan Wax: Yiddish Song for a New Generation
Drawing on the rich legacy of Yiddish song and klezmer music, Jordan Wax honors the Ashkenazi musical heritage with a fresh, contemporary artistic voice. Through his singing, instrumental skill, and deep engagement with Yiddish culture, Jordan helps to keep this vibrant language and music relevant for new generations. When he is not performing his beloved Yiddish songs, Jordan works with traditional New Mexico musicians as a member of the acclaimed New Mexican string band, Lone Piñon. Whether performing on accordion, fiddle, or voice, Jordan brings an artistic vision that connects past and present through song.
Concert begins at 7:30, doors open at 7:00. There's plenty of parking and the venue is accessible to all. Light refreshments (coffee, tea and pastries) will be available. Tickets $15 in advance/$18 at the door
