Arts in the Park, One of the Top Art Shows in the Country, is happening May 6th and 7th Richmond, VA— Artists from all around the United States will showcase their talents at the 52nd annual "Arts in the Park" show and sale at the Carillon in Byrd Park on May 6th from 11-6 pm and May 7th 11-5 pm rain or shine. Arts in the Park is consistently recognized as one of the top art shows in the country featuring over 400 artists displaying everything from fine art paintings, metal crafts, and pottery to jewelry and weavings. Make a whole day of it because Arts in the Park features local food vendors, too. Arts in the Park is a FREE Event with FREE Parking and FREE Shuttles available from the City Stadium parking lot. We also have handicap parking available at the venue. This event has been a celebration of creativity in the City of Richmond for over 50 years as it attracts people from all over Virginia and is eagerly anticipated year after year by vendors and visitors. It’s a family friendly event for people of all ages to enjoy high quality, original art work. Whether you are looking for yourself or a gift, you are sure to find it here. Arts in the Park is sponsored by the Carillon Civic Association, a neighborhood group dedicated to the beautification of the surrounding area including Byrd Park. The members act as volunteers to put on this event and the proceeds benefit numerous resources in the Richmond area. The show is run strictly by neighborhood volunteers.
