Special Focus Tour: Lenten Dining in Tudor England
Join tour guide Tracy Weldon for a look at culinary customs in the Lenten season during Shakespeare's lifetime. What was dining like in Elizabethan England? What Tudor era recipes were prepared and traditions upheld? A brief talk is followed by a guided tour through seasonal displays in Agecroft Hall’s great hall, dining parlor, and Tudor kitchen. Please note that no food is served during this tour.
