Special Focus Tour: Dining in Lenten Tudor England
Join tour guide Tracy Weldon for a look at culinary customs during Shakespeare’s lifetime in the Lenten season. What was dining like in Elizabethan England? What Tudor-era recipes were prepared and traditions upheld? A brief talk is followed by a guided tour through seasonal displays in Agecroft Hall’s great hall, dining parlor, and Tudor kitchen.
