"We Love the Troops" Benefit for the USO-at Kitchen33-Help Feed Hungry Soldiers
* The USO at RIC has a limited budget to feed hungry soldiers and depends on donations. We will be accepting individually wrapped snacks--crackers, chips, trail mix, etc. Sorry, due to health regulations, we can't accept home baked goods.
* McGuire Veterans Hospital has a Brain Injury Unit. Monetary donations accepted to purchase gift cards to send these patients and their families out to eat when the families come to visit. They especially like Chick-fil-A and Mission BBQ. Donations made out to the Exchange Club of Mechanicsville are tax deductible and you will get a receipt. Checks can be mailed to PO Box 891, Glen Allen, VA 23060
* Tricia Riggs, USO Director for Central Virginia will speak briefly on the need. Brief program at noon.
