Slavic Festival Concert
The Balalaika and Domra Association of America (BDAA) presents our annual Slavic Festival Concert, which brings together musicians from around the world to perform Slavic folk music, including Eastern European, Romani, and Klezmer musical traditions. The performance will feature virtuoso guest artists with a 60-piece folk orchestra, all of which are played on unique instruments such as balalaika, domra, bandura, and bayan / accordion.
We are joined by orchestra conductor Dr. Alexander Tentser, balalaika virtuoso Denis Zhukov, domra soloist Guzel Safiullina, bandura soloist Olga Vlasova, The Golden Domes traditional Slavic dancers, and more!
The BDAA Festival Concert is performed in a different city each year and is the culmination of the BDAA’s annual convention, which celebrates Eastern European folk music and culture in the US. This year the concert will be held on Saturday, July 12th, 2025 at 7:30 pm in the Mandalay Ballroom of the Circus Circus Hotel in Reno, NV.
