"Take Tea Like a Bridgerton" Experience @ JB Duke Hotel

The social season is upon us, and guests are invited to journey back in time to indulge in the luxury customs and tastes of the Regency Era at the “Take Tea Like a Bridgerton” experience, on Wednesday, May 22 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the JB Duke Hotel, a AAA Four Diamond property located on Duke University’s campus.
Sydney Dunn, one of the top etiquette experts in North Carolina, will give attendees an enlightening lesson on tea history and etiquette inspired by the hit Netflix historical romance series, Bridgerton. Guests will immerse themselves in London’s high society by learning and practicing tea etiquette basics while savoring a selection of delicate sandwiches, scones and sweets during an exclusive Bridgerton-themed Afternoon Tea service.
While period apparel is not required, it is certainly encouraged. Upon arrival, attendees will be greeted with a pair of complimentary tea gloves, ideal for practicing high society etiquette. To conclude the evening, guests will enjoy a game of Bridgerton Trivia, where two lucky winners will depart with a surprise gift courtesy of JB Duke Hotel and Sydney Dunn Etiquette.
