Live at Boxyard
Immerse yourself in a one-of-a-kind experience and engage hands-on with different art forms at "Live at Boxyard" on Saturday, September 14 from 12 to 4 p.m. This annual event breaks down art stereotypes, offering guests the chance to build a deeper connection through touch and interaction. This year's theme, “Bringing Traditional Crafts into the Modern Century," blends classic techniques with contemporary flair, showcasing how tradition meets innovation.
Watch artists as they bring their creations to life and pull in the crowd to become a part of the creative process. Sharpen your skills by crafting leather goods with Sunhouse Goods or tap into your artistic side in a moss frame workshop with 1 Blossom 2 Bloom (additional fee applies). You can also enjoy live screen printing with Super G and take home custom memorabilia as a special keepsake.
The excitement doesn’t stop there – participants can collaborate on a large semi-permanent art installation, led by local artist Jane Cheek, which will be featured at Boxyard RTP.
