West Center Congregational Church, 101 Pondfield Road West at Chatfield Road, Bronxville, will present a special Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Sanctuary.
Christmas Time Is Here -- A Sing Along Concert and Vocal Recital with Piano will feature mezzo-soprano Kelly Guerra Sedgwick, who made her Metropolitan Opera debut this fall, performing Christmas standards and favorites and some art songs by Barber, Schubert, Tchaikovsky and others. She will be accompanied on the piano by her husband Eric Sedgwick, who will also play selections from The Nutcracker Suite and Christmastime is Here. West Center's Music Director and Organist, John Strybos will play the organ and lead the audience in singing familiar carols during the course of the concert. A reception with light refreshments will follow in Bodge Lounge.
There is no admission charge (although donations are gratefully accepted), and there is free parking on the street. The Sanctuary and Bodge Lounge are accessible to wheelchairs and strollers, and all are welcome.
