THE SHOPS AT SKYVIEW TO HOLD K-CULTURE DAY
The Shops at Skyview, a multi-level shopping destination in New York City (https://www.theshopsatskyviewny.com), invites the community to its final “K-Fun Summer School” Korean cultural class of the 2024 season. On Thursday, August 8th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the center will hold a celebration of Korean customs and culture on Level 4 of the center. During this event, there will be a traditional hanbok runway, folk dancing and music provided by the Korean Traditional Music and Dance Center (KTMDC), an immersive Korean hanbok wardrobe photobooth, and a variety of Korean-themed arts and crafts. Participants who have attended more than four of the center’s K-Fun events will receive a “graduation gift” that includes a postcard signed by beloved K-pop star Jung Dae Hyun. “Graduation” postcards (limit of 50) and gifts (limit of 200) are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with redemption starting at 5 p.m. on August 8th, at the booth on Level 4 of the shopping center.
