Earth Day is every day at Queens Farm! Join us outdoors for a volunteer service day marking the 53rd anniversary of Earth Day.
Farmed since 1697, Queens Farm is one of the longest continually farmed sites in New York State — over 325 years! Celebrate our legacy by helping us preserve this historic farmland with an afternoon of outdoor activities highlighting simple ways you can give back to the farm and our planet.
Volunteers will assist with sifting compost, spring clean-up in the Children’s Garden, mulching, weeding, and more. Add to the fun with tractor-drawn hayrides ($6/person), a self-guided scavenger hunt, and free giveaways. It’s a day of service, learning and fun!
This service day admission program is free for all ages ($15 donation encouraged).
Note: If you would like to participate in a group of 15 or more volunteers, please contact [email protected] for assistance.
