The Louisiana Crawfish Festival is located in Beautiful and Historical St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana which is rich with heritage, moss covered oak trees, creole tomatoes, Louisiana Bayous, shrimp boats, oyster luggers, oil refineries, and is a fisherman's haven.
The 2012 Festival will take place on March 22 - 25 at the Sigur Cultural Center, 8245 West Judge Perez Dr., Chalmette, LA 70043.
The event is open to the public and offers great food, entertainment, rides and live music. The festival is free but you can purchase tickets for food and rides at the festival.
Also, this year the HT3 Outdoors Professional Redfish Invitational Series will kick off again in Chalmette, La. at the 2012 Louisiana Crawfish Festival. Thursday and Friday anglers will launch, return and weigh in at the Marina with only Saturday's top 10 teams being trailered to the festival fairgrounds where crowds await the final day's weigh in.
