For the third consecutive year, five popular local media figures will present insightful talks about their careers this October, when Rydal Park continuing care retirement community presents its 3rd Annual Rydal Park Lively Fall Speaker Series. The series will again be hosted by veteran Daily News columnist and Rydal Park resident Harry Gross, with all talks free and open to the public on a limited, reserved-seating basis by calling 877-933-6699.
This talk will be hosted by Jeff Cole. Since 2000, Cole has been standing up for the common man (and woman), making sure that wrongs get righted, as Investigative Reporter for Fox 29 TV News. He is a two-time winner of the Weiss Award for Investigative Reporting, as well as the recipient of a series of Edward R. Murrow Awards, Associated Press Awards, and Emmy Awards. His reports have led to changes in law, firings, resignations, and arrests. Along with investigative reporting, Jeff is a fill-in news anchor and occasionally covers state politics. He was also named one of the region's most powerful people by Philadelphia Magazine.
