Skip the classroom and step into a night of American history-telling, live music and multimedia! History That Doesn’t Suck with Professor Greg Jackson is the first 100 years of US history told in a thrilling 100 minutes. The promise is in the title!
As we approach the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding, this show is a reminder of just how remarkable that anniversary is – because we very nearly didn’t make it through the first 100 years. It was an "Unlikely Union" from the start, yet the Union has endured, and we’ve been able to work through even more dire and divided times than anything we’re experiencing today.
The Providence, Rhode Island performance on Oct. 26th coincidentally is the 26th state that this show has traveled to. Across so-called "red and blue" states plus D.C., audiences have been inspired by the epic story told by Professor Jackson that our Union has never been perfect nor its permanency guaranteed, but throughout we have found a way forward.
